Marc
explosion proof portable air conditioners are designed as
a quick and easy way to provide temporary or emergency cooling
in hazardous locations. Pre-packaged and ready to run, some
portables are furnished on casters for ease of mobility.
Larger units can be trailer-mounted for easy towing and moving
into place.
Portables
can be furnished for Class I, Division 1 (Zone 1) or Class
I, Division 2 (Zone 2) hazardous (Classified) locations and
in various voltages. Power cables are optional on smaller
models.
Many larger portables
are CSA Certified (C/US) for Class I, Division
2, Groups B,C,D hazardous (Classified) locations.
Options include the Marc protective cabinet
and/or coil coating for corrosion prevention, stainless steel
cabinet, copper tube/copper fin evaporator and condenser coils
(standard is copper tube/aluminum fin),
electric heat, disconnect, flexible duct for supply
and return air, 100% outdoor air arrangement with weatherhood,
and special customer requirements.
