Explosion
proof room air conditioners, also referred to as window air
conditioners, are typically used to condition small spaces
needing up to 36,000 BTU's of cooling and requiring no ductwork.
Air conditioning with room units (window units) can provide
an economical solution for many applications. All
room units may also be marked with the US and Canadian Class
I/ Zone system upon request (example: Class I, Zone
2, group IIB+H2).
RCBX
series air conditioners and RHBX
series heat pumps are CSA (C/US)
certified for Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C, D
hazardous (classified) locations.
Explosion
proof RCBX-C1 series air conditioners are CSA
(C/US) certified for Class I, Division
1, Groups C, D hazardous (classified) locations.
RHBX-C1
series heat pumps are for use in Class I, Division 1, Groups
C, D hazardous (classified) locations.
RCXG
series air conditioners, with or without electric heat, have
a Division 2 rating in the condenser (outdoor) section only
and are for use with Type Z pressurized buildings.
Dust-ignition-proof
RCBX-E1 series air conditioners and RHBX-E1
series heat pumps are for use in Class II, Division 1, Groups
E, F, G hazardous (classified) locations.
Combustible dust hazardous
location RCBX-F2 series air conditioners
and RHBX-F2 series heat pumps are for use
in Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G hazardous (classified)
